Carelink Partner OpenSky Launches New R&D centre

This October, Carelink partner, OpenSky has invested €1 million in its new Research & Development facility in Kildare,Ireland. The investment goes towards a dedicated team headed byTudor Pitulac, Manager of Research Projects. The team will focus on attracting and delivering grant-aided research through EU Research & Innovation programmes. Carelink is OpenSky’s first project in this domain. The funding will serve to increase OpenSky’s expertise in Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Analytics. Opensky is a key partner in the Carelink consortium with responsibility for privacy & security aspects of the platform as well as the user interface which must reflect the particular needs of people with dementia and their carers. This is an exciting investment which underpins this critically important research and innovation work.
